0DTE and GEX dashboard

The 0DTE and GEX dashboard plots estimated same-day gamma exposure by strike around the current price. It helps researchers mark where short-dated exposure is concentrated and how that map changes near expiration, while keeping the result explicitly separate from a directional prediction.

What the 0dte and gex dashboard shows

Gamma is typically more sensitive for near-term, near-the-money options, so same-day exposure can change quickly as price moves across strikes and time passes. The chart makes that concentration visible without claiming that a level must hold.

The screenshot above is from the working product, not a mockup. The visible controls and fields are the same ones trial and Pro users research with; only the market-data timing changes between the two access levels.

  • 0DTE gamma exposure by strike.
  • Current underlying price relative to exposure concentrations.
  • Maximum GEX strike highlighted on the chart.
  • Scaled and raw exposure views for comparison.

How to read this dashboard

Read the dashboard as one step in a sequence. Record what it directly shows first, then use the next view to test the interpretation rather than turning a color or ranking into a conclusion.

  • Mark spot and the nearest high-exposure strikes before considering direction.
  • Compare call-side and put-side contributions rather than using the net bar alone.
  • Recheck the map as spot and time change during the session.
  • Use actual price behavior and broader flow as confirmation, not the GEX level by itself.

What this view cannot establish

GEX is an estimate built from option Greeks and assumptions about positioning. A strike can coincide with a price reaction without causing it, and aggregate dealer-hedging direction cannot be known perfectly from public data.

Realtime Options describes observed and derived market data for independent research. It does not identify a trader, reveal intent with certainty, predict a price move or issue a recommendation.

Questions people ask about this

What does 0DTE mean?

0DTE means zero days to expiration: the option expires at the end of the current trading day. Its time value and Greek sensitivities can change rapidly near spot.

What is GEX?

GEX is gamma exposure, an estimate derived from option gamma, contract size, open interest or other position assumptions, and the underlying price.

Does maximum GEX predict a price magnet?

No. It identifies a modeled concentration. Price may react near that strike for several reasons, and the level should be studied with flow, liquidity and actual price behavior.
