Weighted Net Flow dashboard
Weighted Net Flow compares estimated call pressure and put pressure with sentiment and the underlying price on one intraday chart. It answers whether options activity is broadly confirming the price move, fighting it or remaining mixed; it does not explain the purpose of any individual trade.
- Research question
- Is options pressure confirming or fighting price?
- Best used for
- The first market-wide read of a session
- Data timing
- Near-real-time Pro; 15-minute delayed trial
- Product access
- Included in the single $25/month plan

What the weighted net flow dashboard shows
The chart puts direction, balance and price response in the same visual field. Weighting reduces the influence of low-premium contract counts and emphasizes where more premium changed hands, while the price overlay makes unsupported narratives easier to notice.
The screenshot above is from the working product, not a mockup. The visible controls and fields are the same ones trial and Pro users research with; only the market-data timing changes between the two access levels.
- Weighted call premium and weighted put premium through the session.
- A sentiment line derived from the balance between the two sides.
- Underlying price on the same time axis for confirmation and divergence.
- Selected-symbol and market-wide scopes for narrowing the read.
How to read this dashboard
Read the dashboard as one step in a sequence. Record what it directly shows first, then use the next view to test the interpretation rather than turning a color or ranking into a conclusion.
- Mark whether call or put pressure dominates before looking at any ticker ranking.
- Compare turning points in flow with turning points in the underlying price.
- Treat divergence as a research question, then open sector and ticker flow.
- Use strike and expiry views before assigning meaning to the strongest name.
What this view cannot establish
A call-heavy chart is not automatically bullish and a put-heavy chart is not automatically bearish. Trades can be closing, hedged, spread across legs or paired with underlying positions, and public flow classification estimates aggressor direction rather than proving intent.
Realtime Options describes observed and derived market data for independent research. It does not identify a trader, reveal intent with certainty, predict a price move or issue a recommendation.
Questions people ask about this
What is weighted net options flow?
It is call and put premium adjusted by estimated trade aggressiveness and combined into a directional session view. The weighting is an analytic model, not an exchange-provided signal.
Why plot options flow beside price?
The comparison shows confirmation and divergence. It prevents a strong-looking flow reading from being interpreted without checking how the underlying actually responded.
Does positive net flow predict a price increase?
No. Positive flow describes classified activity that has already happened; it does not establish trade intent or guarantee a future move.
